Itinerary
Join us for a week long escape to Nicaragua and soak in the culture, surf, and selfless gratification of helping those in the community.
Please know that all activities are optional. We’ve simply highlighted an itinerary to give you an idea of what a day in paradise could look like. Enjoy.
Adventure III - 11.21.09 - 11.29.09
Arrive Saturday, November 21, 2009 (afternoon)
Depart Sunday, November 29, 2009 (evening)
Surf/Breakfast/Yoga 6:00am - 10:00am
SYRV Volunteer Projects 10:30am - 5:30pm
Lunch 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Sunset Surf/Yoga 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Dinner 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Bon Fire 9:00pm
*Surf - All board rentals in Jiquilillo are included in your trip price. The break in front of our lodge in Jiquilillo is great for beginners or mellow surfers, while more advance surfers will enjoy our 3 trips to Chancletas (30 minute drive) and the epic surf available in San Juan del Sur.
*Yoga - Progressive vinyasa flow.
*Wellness -Private massage & holistic healing including the Yuen Method Energetics & Reiki will be available during your trip. These will be scheduled upon your arrival.
*Volunteer - We will have various projects to work on including: building water purifiers, shelters, environmental education in schools, feedings, distributing clothes, shoes and other group donations.
*Adventure -You will have several optionals to add on to your trip including:
Kayak Padre Ramos Wildlife Reserve! This is a mangrove estuary chock full of fish and migrating birds. Two to four hours with lunch is $35 per person.
Boat Tour with Surfboards and Deep Sea Fishing equipment. Go looking for new waves or fish with the locals. $40 per person. (dependant on # of persons in boat)
Horseback Riding -Experience the nine kilometres of beach, estuary and trails by horseback. $10 per hour.
Bicycle the beach and village. $10 full day or $5 half day.
Just ask- Nicaragua is a fascinating country with lots to explore. Just because you don't see it listed here, it doesn't mean we can't arrange it for you. The only thing we won't have is the crowds!
